Similar to any form of sport, there are certain rules, methods and strategies to follow in every type of business in order to progress and become successful in the shortest possible period of time.

Fitness, for example, has nothing at all to do with business, but can seemingly be compared well with it, if you want to show how important the knowledge and correct implementation of certain rules, methods and strategies are.

Just like in business, it is impossible to make progress in fitness without knowing certain rules, training methods and strategies and applying them correctly and consistently. 

The fact is that fitness and business are indispensable in today's world and many business people attach great importance to their health and physical development.

In part, the fitness and health of employees is also favoured by the world's largest companies such as Apple, Google and the like by all means, which can be seen through the large in-house fitness centres.

Just as for many business people and internet entrepreneurs of today's digital age, the freedom of time and the fitness training that this allows seems to be the main reason why they get into online businesses in the first place, so too for me, at the beginning of my career, getting into online business was partly for the same reason.

A healthy and balanced life and a nice body without a big, fat and flabby belly that can turn a beach holiday into a nightmare - especially if you're single - who doesn't want that these days?

The strong growth in fitness culture since the last 10 years shows how much important this is to people in today's world.

For me fitness has always been of huge importance since I first started fitness training at the beginning of my online business career. At the gym I saw a lot of well-trained athletes and was all the time dreaming of of having a body like that.

I was highly motivated, started training very hard at the same time as my online business and wanted to see results as soon as possible - but, months passed and I became very impatient.

Because every time I stood topless in front of the mirror after the hard workout, I had to admit to myself again and again, with my head tilted, that despite the hard workout and the effort, I had not made any progress - because there was not the slightest sign of muscle growth.

Depressed, I went home each time thinking how I could manage to become as fit and muscular as all the other successful fitness models who were so magnificently featured on the cover of the most popular fitness magazines like Men's Health or GQ every month.

In desperation, I finally started researching via the internet and bought every possible issue of the most popular fitness magazines.

But the result of months of intensive research didn't seem to help me either. Because all it brought me in was an overload of information, so in the end I didn't really know which training methods, training plans, supplement tips and nutrition plans I should really adopt.

I felt terrible and felt like a small, lonely child in the middle of a huge crowd of people without company and without parents. I didn't know where to go and lost all orientation.

Many people in the gym chattered about how a dream body like those of the fitness models could not be realised without taking testosterone pills and an intravenous supply of liquid anabolic steroids.

On the other hand, many experienced people with a well-toned body also swore that all these artificial means were only harmful to health and in reality did nothing but waste money. These people seemed to be firmly convinced that the right and healthy diet was the key to success or a dream body.

After a short conversation with my family doctor, I quickly realised that artificial preparations such as testostorone pills and anabolic steroids cannot be the solution, because my doctor told me about some bad cases where patients developed heart problems as well as problems with their sexual organ due to such preparations, which I logically did not want to have.

A proper and healthy diet, on the other hand, seemed plausible to me, but considering all the various foods with diverse vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates, saturated fatty acids and minerals as an absolute beginner, I didn't know what and how much I had to take at what times and over what period of time every day in order to ultimately get such a beautiful dream body like those of the successful fitness models.

And as if this depressing self-knowledge about my ignorance in terms of nutrition wasn't enough, I finally had to realise that I had no idea how best to train for such a dream body.

To compensate for my lack of knowledge about nutrition and training, I finally decided to get tips, advice, nutrition and training plans from the most experienced people around me.

And what could be worse for a new fitness enthusiast in such a situation than to end up with an unprofessional nutrition and fitness consultant who has no solid knowledge of their profession at all?

Exactly, there is nothing worse that can happen to a newcomer in such a situation! Because apart from the high costs associated with counselling, useless counselling can also rob a newcomer of a lot of time and energy - especially if he or she is running an online business on the side and has many commitments.

And that's exactly what happened to me.
