Riches already lie in very many hearts? What exactly is meant by that? And how the hell are beautiful houses, expensive cars, luxurious yachts and the like supposed to lie in hearts, some people are bound to ask.
Indeed a confusing statement the first time you read it, but after a moment's thought, the meaning quickly becomes clear.
In this regard, you may certainly understand, life is all about listening to your heart and chasing your passion and dream rather than chasing money all the time.
In reality, however, a great many people seem to chase money through a full-time job for a variety of reasons, such as buying a house, a car, expensive clothes, a holiday and the like, because they think that doing their favourite activity or passion does not bring in any money. But is this really the case?
Digitalisation has shown us the opposite and you can quickly see from very many case studies that it is perfectly possible to build up a fortune with your favourite activity.
From all the YouTubers to influencers to e-commercers with up to seven-figure monthly incomes, of which there seem to be so many on the internet these days, they have all shown us that it is possible.
They are not all chasing money, money is chasing them instead. Whether money chases us or not, however, does not depend on the mere exercise of passion - that is, not on a single factor - but on further skills and multiple factors that are necessary to be dominated in order to transform passion into a source of income.
Let's be honest with ourselves. How many of us have researched what skills will be in demand in the coming decade? If so, how many have done something or anything about it? I have asked about 1000 people a simple question over the course of my career: How many of us have paid out of our own pockets to be self-taught via the internet from the comfort of our own homes?
An astonishing 99.5% of people had excuses, but the answer was: "We never invested money out of our pocket to acquire new skills".
In a world where our jobs or business can disappear at any time, isn't that something we need to invest in?
Shouldn't we be able to selectively choose things via internet that will help us along and then adopt them to develop ourselves?
If we want money to chase us, we need to chase the right skills and the right content that will ultimately help us monetise our passion.
Now let's not say that it takes millions of euros. Reversing the equation so we don't have to chase money is really not that expensive. It just requires a bit of discipline. As the saying goes: "Discipline is the key to success".
There are enough societal reasons that have pressured us for centuries so that people have been discouraged to realise their dream and do their own thing. We cannot ignore this fact, but that cannot be an excuse for many other things that we can control, if not completely control.
Therefore, never let a mistake, a defeat or any external influence demoralise you. Hold on to your passion and your dream. Expand your skills and abilities.
The world is becoming different and we have to start thinking differently. But if our life already starts with money in our heads, then we will never be able to realise ourselves and find peace in life.
